Rose Scott qualified as an accountant, with articles served at Price Waterhouse in 1993. Her career has been highlighted by the joy she experiences in seeing her clients achieve or exceed their financial goals.
Skills transfer is a key focus area for Rose as she has a strong conviction in the legacy we each leave with the value and values that we add to others' lives.
Her experience in Johannesburg included customizing change management processes and programs for clients, including Procter and Gamble. A broad scope of experience was gained through her financial consulting, servicing accounting and tax requirements from blue chip entities to start-ups and individuals.
Lecturing part-time at Damelin and Boston City Campus in financial subjects gave Rose a rare insight into the entire accounting process beginning with fundamental bookkeeping with a solid understanding of the picture for the top down as well as the bottom up. This rare skill gives her an eagle eye when it comes to forensic engagements.
Rose has a commitment to working closely with clients from “cradle to grave” – far more like the trusted family accountant of old but with the technical savvy and skills to optimize the results delivered.
In 2010 Rose relocated to Plettenberg Bay and opened a boutique accounting and tax consultancy. Her dream to offer service excellence and connect with people along their business and personal financial journey is being brought to fruition through her passion to serve her clients with excellence.
