4iAfrica has recently won the Gold award for SDG #15 – Life On Land at the prestigious SDG Awards by EUTech for its innovative Nature-Based Climate Action Solutions (NBS) project, which has the proven capability to remove gigatons of CO2 from the atmosphere while addressing the key issues of food insecurity, land/soil transformation, health, poverty, and unemployment all at the same time.
Based on the mass planting of specifically chosen high carbon sequestring plant species to remove gigatons of CO2 from the atmosphere, 4iAfrica will also sustain the project indefinately by processing and manufacturing hundreds of enviro friendly products including high protein nutrient dense foods, medicine, organic fertilisers, netZero building materials including wood and cement alternatives, bio energy and bio plastic for the airline, auto manufacturing and other global markets from the millions of tons of their high carbon sequestring crop species thereby addressing the key issues of food and water insecurity, land/soil degradation, health, poverty and unemployment as they will be in a position to create 25 million+ job and business opportunities from their end-to-end supply chain.
In recognition of its efforts and innovations, 4iAfrica is now under consideration to become a fully Certified Partner to the United Nations.
